Snuggling with Mommy!
Day 98

Day 99

Day 100

Look who is 100 days old!!
Eagan and I are both finally feeling better and able to update our blog. I had to go a whole day and a half without seeing him because I was sick.
On Day 97, we noticed his right leg was very swollen. After two ultrasounds, a mass the size of his kidney was located just above his kidney. It was cutting off proper circulation to his leg. On Day 98, Eagan had surgery to drain what was found to be an abscess and insert a penrose drain into it. He also had an eye exam. His eyes are no better, but also no worse. They will be looked at again next week. He had to be intubated for surgery and will remain on the ventilator since another surgery is planned for Monday. This surgery will be to change his temporary sub-clavian line to a permanent, broviac sub-clavian line. Overall, he is doing really well post-operative.
